Spiritualized這隊曾在Royal Albert Hall開過演唱會的轟炸式迷幻結他樂隊,
在主將Jason pierce的強烈個人主義影響之下,炒了其餘三名隊員,
而spiritualized的新album,Let It Come Down 只由jason獨自創作.
新碟的歌,完全song-based化了,失去了以往那種即興free-form的迷幻演奏,
但仍然尋找到孤寂及神傷的氣氛. 另外,今次jason會聯同
gospel and choral singers (orchestra)合作.

LET IT COME DOWN is the most song based lp yet from SPIRITUALIZED
and represents a remarkable achievement by Jason Pierce
in both writing and arranging an lp on such a vast scale.
It represents more than a two year undertaking, from writing and notating
the original songs, the recording process through to completion of the mixes
in May 2001.
