英倫新進樂隊 Coldplay 的處女大碟 Parachutes 被中國大陸禁止發行，
原因是碟內一首名為 Spies 的歌曲內容具煽動性。
歌曲其中一句歌詞為：「I awake to see that no one is free,
we're all fugitives (逃亡者), look at the way we live down here,
I can not sleep from fear.」
Coldplay 在美國的受歡迎程度日漸上升，他們的最新單曲 Yellow
已登上 Billboard Modern Rock Track 的十大位置，
而 Parachutes 現佔 Billboard 200 唱片銷量榜的第 57 位。
