到底是什麼樣的自我？
什麼樣的虛偽？
Evan Dando！
檸檬頭（Lemonheads）樂隊的首腦人物！
於八零年代於波士頓組成，
不同於Husker Du與Replacements的狂野～
在那段後龐克盛行的日子裡，
Evan以其稚嫩帶點沙啞的嗓音，
在美國那個硬蕊搖滾盛行的年代裡，
他們除了硬蕊龐克外亦加入了早期美國傳統鄉謠的元素，
走出了不同的一番天地～
早期的專輯走的是普普通通的硬蕊龐克，
但也翻唱了兩首著名的曲子：
Suzzane Vega的LUKA及Simon & Garfunkel的MRS. ROBINSON，
這兩首歌帶給大家的印象一般而言是屬於輕鬆
而令人聽了會想要舞動的曲子（雖然歌詞表達未必是那麼一回事！）
他們賦予了這一首歌不同於以往的爆發力！
也使他們開始逐漸的成名～
CAR BUTTON CLOTH這張專輯發表於96年，
離上一張專輯有三年之久！
專輯中Evan走出了毒品的陰影，
重拾他所擅長的鄉村民謠與硬蕊龐克的結合～
悅耳的旋律加上歌詞中所透露的那一段戒毒的痛苦日子
顯示了Evan不同於其他創作歌手的才華！
在專輯中他亦使用了不少較特殊的歌曲演奏手法，
諸如以敲擊鍋碗的方法代替打鼓，以口哨聲來形容
他內心既苦悶又想強顏歡笑的感覺！
if i could talk i'd tell you即為其中代表歌曲，
雖然檸檬頭實際上為Evan一人為主的樂隊，
團員亦歷經了多次的變動，
但他擅長譜寫悅耳旋律的功夫不曾有所消減～
期待他下一張專輯！
