Jeepster Records and London's XFM are out to bring some hipness to this
year's Holiday Season. On November 20th, Jeepster will release "It's a
Cool, Cool Christmas", a compilation of original and traditional
Christmas favorites performed by some of the most revered and reviled
bands in indie rock. Performers include Belle & Sebastian, Calexico,
Low, and the Flaming Lips. Like most Christmas albums, it's for charity:
proceeds go to the Big Issue Foundation, which offers support to homeless
people of the UK. The tracklisting is as follows:
