最近想念好英文，趁著上課閒閒的，將這篇短短的樂評翻成中文，
如有不當之處，請大家多多指教...(我英文真的滿差的!)
Randall and Hopkirk[Deceased]Soundtrack ●●●○○
This 13-track album for the lateset Vic and Bob vehicle features
ten exclisive new tunes from artists including Pulp and
Talvin Singh.
這張有十三首歌的專輯，是 Vic and Bob 用來表達他們想法的最新媒介，
包含了眾多藝人的十首新歌，其中，還有 Pulp 以及 Talvin Singh。
Vic Reeve's solo musical career ended approximnatly 30 seconds
after his album hit the shops,which is a shame because his
acid house version of 'Abide With Me' might've spiced up this
elevated but dull soundtrack.
Vic Reeve 的個人音樂事業，早就在他專輯上架後，大約 30 秒左右就結束了，
丟臉的是因為他為 'Abide With Me' 所做的 acid house 版本，
應該替這張高尚但無趣的原聲帶，增加一點趣味。
Showing that monopoly capitalism has some side-benefits, half
the tracks come from the newly-formed Universal-Island stable,
which means the next to Pulp's haunting madrigal 'My Body May Die'
you get a collaboration between Nina Cardigan and David Arnold
on the show's efficiently luscious theme. But only Basement Jaxx's
hilarious collision of jazz and jungle 'Jus' Tonite' has any of
Vic and Bob's anarchic spirit.
展現出獨佔資本主義者的利益，原聲帶中半數以上的歌曲，來自新成立的
Universal-Island 這個穩定的廠牌，意味著 Pulp 下一首令人難忘的無伴奏合唱曲
'My Body May Die'，以及 Cardigan 主唱 Nina 與 David Arnold 為節目
有效率做出來的甜美主題曲，但是只有 Basement Jaxx 可以令人狂歡，
瀰漫著衝突的 Jazz、Jungle 歌曲 'Jus' Tonite' 有一絲 Vic and Bob
的無政府精神。
The Orb's 'Hamlet of Kings' is a throwaway noise collage,
Talvin Singh's 'Carnival of Drums' live down to its title
and,fatally,the whole thing closes with a deadly duo
of ballads by Emiliana Torrini and Lewis Taylor. There are
a few gems here[especially The Beta Band's clattering recent
A-side 'To You Alone'],but,like Vic Revers and Bob Mortimer
themselves,it all feels stranded in the no-man's-land
between leftfield and the mainstream.
The Orb 的 'Hamlet of Kings' 則只是一首聽過即扔的噪音拼貼作品，
Talvin Singh 的 'Carnvial of Drums' 令人無法留下深刻的印象，
而最致命的一點，整張原聲帶竟是以該死的 Emiliana Torrini 和 Lewis Taylor
這兩人的芭樂歌結尾，但還是有幾首好歌可以一聽，特別是 Beta Band
近來喧鬧的 A-Side 單曲 'To You Alone'，但是，就像 Vic Revers 和
Bob Mortimer 他們自己一樣，這張原聲帶搖擺於主流與非主流間，
就如同在無人島上感到一籌莫展一樣。
