A tribute to Britney Spears will be a part of this year's MTV Video Music Awards
and the show's producers are discussing a way to salute Amy Winehouse as well.

"Britney will be at the show and we'll be paying tribute to her," VMA executive
producer Amy Doyle told Billboard.com, confirming speculation that has grown
since a Spears promo for the show began airing.

"She was having an incredible year and she is so beloved by the MTV audience
that we started to think what could we do that would be a different experience
(from years past)," said Doyle, the executive vice president of Music and
Talent for MTV. "Obviously everything from her choreography to her fashion to
her videos will be (covered). We said 'let's challenge ourselves to do
something unique'."

In addition to the Spears tribute, VMA producers are "talking about
acknowledging" Winehouse, who died July 23 in London. "We had a great history
with Amy," Doyle said, mentioning a performance she did for the network's "45th
at Night" show in 2007. "She was very near and dear to us."

This year's VMAs will be broadcast from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles on
Aug. 28. The network hopes to announce a host in the near future and Doyle
suggested that the show would continue the recent trend of bringing in newer
talent as hosts. Chelsea Handler handled last year's telecast, Russell Brand
the year before.

版本層出不窮，甚至Jason Derulo、Bruno Mars等男歌手也被傳要穿著Britney的經典裝扮
登台。不過在這些不靠譜的傳言之外，近日Breathe Heavy登載了一個頗為有板有眼的傳言
版本。在正式消息公佈之前，不妨來看看這則傳聞的內容。

根據這一消息，向Britney致敬的環節將為VMA開場，整個節目持續8分鐘。節目開始將播放
介紹視頻，視頻中會有Britney六歲時玩芭比娃娃的珍貴鏡頭。視頻結束後，Selena Gomez
將穿著Britney的經典校服裝扮演唱《...Baby One More Time》；隨後，Miley Cyrus會與
蛇共舞，上演《I'm A Slave 4 U》的舞台；Demi Lovato則身著亮鑽裝緊隨其後，在舞台
中央獻唱《Toxic》。三人表演後將聚在台中，帶著米奇耳朵頭飾演唱《3》，而這首歌的
表演，將“引領典禮次日的所有話題”。 （或許與2003年有得一拼？）隨後，Katy Perry
將與Rihanna在台上共同獻上《Hold It Against Me》；而剛剛結束了與Britney巡演的
Nicki Minaj則將再度在台上表演自己在《 Till The World Ends》中廣受好評的Rap段落
。最後的最後，Britney本尊將閃亮登場，與Sabi共同表演《(Drop Dead) Beautiful》。

不僅如此，消息也對授予Britney終生成就獎的過程進行了透露：在當晚的大獎年度錄影帶
頒發之前，現場將播放一段視頻，內容包括Britney經典MV回顧以及眾多名人對Britney為
流行音樂和音樂錄影帶事業帶來的貢獻的感謝，參與錄製的名人包括Miley Cyrus、Lady
Gaga、Selina Gomez、Joe Jonas，還可能包括Jusitn Timberlake、Will.i.am和
Christina Aguilera。視頻播放結束後，Madonna將上台進行簡短陳詞並向Britney頒發終
身成就獎。

儘管這一消息頗為完整，但畢竟只是一則看起來很美的傳言。作為VMA的高級機密，今年的
舞台上會上演怎樣精彩的Britney主題秀，還是要等到8月28日的典禮現場才能見分曉。
