Heavy going in Makaay deal
31.07.2003 | Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has given a gloomy prognosis in the latest
bulletin on the protracted Roy Makaay transfer saga. "La Coruna are doing
nothing whatsoever at the moment. If it goes on like this, there'll be no deal,
" the Bayern chairman said on Wednesday. The Munich club and the player agreed
personal terms a while ago, but Spanish top flight outfit Deportivo La Coruna
have yet to respond to the German champions' firm bid for the Dutch ace.
