Milan chief in Germany for talks over Bayern's Santa Cruz
tribalfootball.com - January 12, 2004
AC Milan transfers chief Ariedo Braida has been in
Germany sounding out BayernMunich about the availability
of Roque Santa Cruz.
The Paraguay international is emerging as a major target
for Milan as injury concerns continue to plague striker
Pippo Inzaghi.
Doubts also over the ability to challenge at the very top
for Jon Dahl Tomasson and Marco Borriello have forced Milan
to look for alternatives.
Braida is said to have registered Milan's interest
with Bayern last week and also spoke with Santa Cruz's
representatives about the possibility of moving to Italy next season.
