Schweinsteiger suspended for semi-final

Germany must do without suspended midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger for their
Confederations Cup semi-final.
The 20-year-old Bayern Munich star collected a yellow card in Tuesday's 2-2
draw with Argentina after just two minutes and must now sit out the
semi-final in Nuremberg on June 25.
It is a major blow for manager Jurgen Klinsmann as Schweinsteiger has been a
revelation for Germany on the left flank with his trickery and accurate
crossing.
Germany's opponents in the last four are not known with world champions
Brazil, Mexico and Japan still to complete their Group B matches.
Mexico top the pool and have qualified for the semi-finals while Brazil and
Japan face off on Wednesday for the right to join them.
