Like many artists Michel Gondry and Bjork decided to use this video to make
a statement. The main idea of the video is how the public has a need to build
up people into stars, only to tear them down.
In addition the video is put together masterfully. There is care attention to
detail . . . .especially in the theatre scene's . .and the set's diminish in
quality . . . .
It also is very real . . . Bjork is not made-up into a very glamourous "pop-
star". She has rough edges in this video, mess hair, jeans . . .ect . . . .
but it's the emotion in the music and the video that make you see the beauty
in her.
