To me, the song represents a difficult relationship that she desparately wants
to work. The "little things" she throws off of the cliff, to me, represent
anger, resentment, cheating, whatever, just bad feelings she harbours toward
the object of her affections -- she "wakes up before him" to deal with those
feelings alone so it will not affect the other. She just truly loves the
person, and wants the relationship to work at any cost, regardless of how
self-destructive it may be.

Basically from what I have read when Bjork talks about it she more or less
said something to this affect.
Basically that when you are in love, sometimes you try to hide some of your
emotions, especially the ugly, agressive, or means ones. You don't want them
to corupt your relation ship. But you have to get them out some how . .right?
. .So basically the woman the song is about wakes up very very early every
day . .and gets violent, throwing random stuff off the mountain. This is her
way to deal with these emotion, after she get's it all out of her system, she
goes back in the house to be happy with her love. She is no longer aggressive
. .she is relaxed and at ease.
that's (in a paraphrased way) is what I have read Bjork say in an interview.
