Reveal Reviews! One digs it, one might not

Late last week the MD for Warners NZ came down to Christchurch, and called in
to the record shop I work in. Knowing I am a fan, he handed me a copy of reveal
(the original track listing) to play. I heard it once, then he made sure he got
it back (damn!).
Today, we rang to find out more on the release date, and found out he was
instructed to courier the version he was sent from Warner US, back to them,
cos of this track listing change. (Damn to the power of two!)
From the listen I was allowed,I can say dropping the words Melody rich,
unbelievably beautiful, warm and jaw dropping all seem well within reason.
It is so much more than UP offered. Yeah...warm.
Fuck...it's damn lazy to say Automatic-ish',but I will. Imitation is like a pop m
moment from the early albums. The other track I can recall as heartstopping,
is I'll Take...'. Epic.
Throughout, Michael's lyrics and voice are superb, and wow, ...the melodies.
I'm sorry I can't remember more, but one listen just wasn't enough. Many, many,
many listens when it comes out, just won't be enough.
As a fan since day one, it is always a massive joy when a new album comes out,
and this listen just left me with a stupid smile on my face all day.
I'm sorry to post a tease like this, but I had to tell someone! Roll on May.
If Bono thought his band were the biggest band in the world, he's gonna be a
tad worried come May. 哈哈哈@@
The return of the best band ever.
