MEL B TELLS IT LIKE IT IS

SCARY SPICE MEL B has admitted that the no-holds-barred lyrics
on forthcoming solo single 'TELL ME' are an attack on ex-husband
JIMMY GULZAR.
The track, due for release through Virgin on September 18,
contains the lines 'What made you think I would be a fool/I now
see through you/And you're the fool... You didn't have no self-
esteem/And all you loved was Mel B's money'. In this week's Time
Out magazine (August 23-30), in London shops now, the singer
explains just how autobiographical the words are.
She said: "That song's about a relationship... about when a
relationship goes wrong. In other words, I'm saying he didn't
love me."
When asked what she thinks he'll say when he realises, Mel
emphatically states "I don't give a shit."
Mel B's album 'Hot', which features collaborations with big
hitters such as Timbaland, Jam & Lewis and Missy Elliot, is
released on October 8, also through Virgin.
