Dale said the Braves also were excited about the signing of a prep
righthander from Taiwan, righthander Chen-En Hung. Area scout Jeremy Chu did
the legwork on the signing, with Dale and international scouting director
Rene Francisco also scouting Hung, a slender 6-foot-1 with a projectable
build from Kaoshiung.

“He touches 90 (mph) already and has nice secondary stuff, and his arm works
easy,” Dale said. “He kind of reminds you of Chien-Ming Wang the way his
arm works."
