Who's-Hu of Homer Hitters
Chin-lung Hu's first major league hit was a home run Tuesday night, and he
was able to retrieve the ball from a fan in exchange for a couple of
autographs. The ball then was handed to Hu's parents, who are visiting from
Taiwan.
They hold a piece of history, as Hu's homer was the second by a Taiwan-born
player in big-league history. The first was hit in June by Kuo, who memorably
flipped his bat afterward.
"ESPN repeated it, like, 2,000 times," mused Hu, who watched Kuo's homer from
Class AA Jacksonville.
原來那顆球已經回到胡爸媽手中了....
