Wang nearly perfect in Yanks' rout
Righty's bid at history ends with Broussard homer in eighth

王建民幾近完美的演出帶領洋基打的對手潰不成軍
而他的紀錄卻在八上被Broussard所終結

NEW YORK -- Chien-Ming Wang's bid to join Don Larsen, David Wells and David
Cone in the annals of Yankees lore ended in the eighth inning on Saturday,
with a well-earned standing ovation and a series of dugout handshakes serving
as a consolation prize.

建民哥哥想加入Don Larsen, David Wells and David Cone 等人的行列所做的努力，
卻在八上被Broussard（以下簡稱死小孩）這個死小孩所破壞，然而這卻無損他所應得
到的掌聲與鼓勵，來作為他的努力的獎賞（當被打出全壘打後全場觀眾吶喊著
Chien-Ming Wang真的是感動到差點哭出來）。


In a matinee performance at Yankee Stadium, Wang retired the first 22
Mariners batters he faced before Ben Broussard broke up the right-hander's
chances for perfection, slugging a home run to right-center field.

在午後的洋基球場，建民哥哥順利的解決了在面對死小孩之前的22名打者，死小孩打出
的中間方向全壘打也破壞了建民哥哥締造完全比賽的機會。

Denied the third regular-season perfect game in Yankees history, Wang instead
settled for eight innings of one-run, two-hit ball in his first victory of
the season, an 8-1 win over the Mariners.

雖然無法締造洋基史上在例行賽中的第三場完全比賽，建民哥哥仍靠著八局失一分、
兩安打的好投，帶領洋基隊擊敗水手隊，並拿下個人本季首勝。


The Yankees provided Wang, who walked none and struck out four, with ample
cushion for the effort in a lengthy sixth inning, batting around. During the
frame, Wang, still embroiled in the perfect-game bid, was left alone on the
dugout bench, his right arm draped in a towel and his teammates seated
nowhere near him.

而洋基隊今天也給予了建民哥哥堅強的守備做為靠山，在建民哥哥完全比賽紀錄持續
進行中的局與局之間，他獨自一個人坐在休息區裡面，用毛巾裹著他的黃金右臂坐在
水桶旁邊，當然他的隊友也識相的閃的遠遠的。


Coincidentally, Wang's performance came on the 103rd anniversary of the first
perfect game in Major League history. On May 5, 1904, Cy Young pitched a
perfect game for the Boston Americans against the Philadelphia Athletics.

巧合的是，王哥哥今天的表現是大聯盟第一場完全比賽第一百零三週年的紀念日，
一九零四年五月五號，賽揚代表波士頓美國人隊出戰費城運動家隊時投出了一場完全
比賽。
