: starts, including a seven-inning gem against the White Sox on May 16 in

: "The pitcher has to set the pace and tone for our being consistent," Torre
: said. "We came into the first two games here with two kids, and we got

: CWS: RHP Javier Vazquez (3-3, 3.95 ERA)
: The former Yankees right-hander gets another crack at his old team.
: Vazquez is 1-2 with a 5.00 ERA, with 18 strikeouts in 18 innings against
: the Bombers. He hasn't pitched against the Yankees this year and is
: coming off an eight-inning scoreless outing on June 1 at Toronto. He is
: 1-2 with a 4.26 ERA at home.

小王已經連續五場共計34局未被擊出全壘打 (低調才是王道..)
白襪 - Javier Vazquez (3勝3負, 3.95 ERA)
這位前洋基投手將再度面對老東家的挑戰. 他之前生涯面對洋基的紀錄是18局投球18K,
ERA 5.00, 戰績1勝2負. 他本季還沒面對過洋基, 並正延續著上一場 (6/1) 面對藍鳥八
局無失分的紀錄. 他在主場的戰績是1勝2負, 4.26 ERA.

: Johnny Damon needs a repeat performance of his three-hit game on Tuesday
: to keep sparking this Yankees offense. Damon's double led off the four-run
: sixth that broke the game open.
