然而現在 總教練托瑞跟他的工作人員們(指球員)總算到了五成勝率
如果你放到最寬鬆的標準來看
她們現在勉強算是一個有可能拼進季後賽的球隊

"但是我們必須要持續這樣的表現一陣子"

洋基今晚贏球的話 勝率就可以超過5成 上次超過5成勝率已經是 4/20的事情了
當然 洋基還落後紅襪 9.5場勝差

托瑞說  下一步洋基打算把勝率提高到比5成再多贏個五場 之後再想下一步

"我們贏多少場 會直接影響到我們在十月會不會進季後賽" 托瑞說

"我們不會妄想現在就追上紅襪,那太異想天開了"

然後Farnsworth和Rivera上來把比賽解決
Rivera 第九局完美的投球使得他拿到十次救援機會中的第八次救援成功
在這波連勝中,昨晚洋基的打擊並不能算得上很好
她們只打了五支安打
不過儘管這場比賽因雨延遲58分鐘
在王的強力表現下他們還是贏了

就跟其他許多洋基球員一樣 王建民六月的表現火熱
這個右投手在六月的表現是3勝0負  ERA 2.08
甚至  王建民宣稱自己昨晚表現只是"還OK" "普普通通"
但洋基隊應該很樂意王建民繼續"普普通通"下去

王建民已經連續46局未被打出全壘打了

松井秀喜從三壘趁Cabreara打出雙殺打的機會衝回本壘
洋基擴大領先到 4-1

洋基現在有著七連勝 這是從2005年5月十連勝以來的最長連勝

"連勝是正常的  因為球員都很努力 這些不會被否定的"  托瑞說
"努力是很重要的態度"
