NEW YORK -- Chien-Ming Wang navigated through seven scoreless innings and
Melky Cabrera, Derek Jeter and Robinson Cano each drove in two runs to lead
the Yankees past the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday, 8-0.

王建民主投七局無失分，加上Cabrera，Jeter和Cano各有兩分打點進帳，最終以8比0

Wang wasn't at his sharpest, tying a season high with four walks, but he was
continually able to escape damage. The 27-year-old right-hander scattered
four hits and struck out three to pick up his first win in three starts.

He had plenty of support by the end of the night, particularly as the Yankees
batted around in a five-run sixth inning that chased Minnesota's Carlos Silva
and opened the game up.

Jorge Posada had a chance to extend his legs as Twins center fielder

Posada scored on a wild pitch, Bobby Abreu added a run-scoring single,
Cabrera laced a two-run hit and Jeter drove in another run to complete the
barrage.

The Yankees' offense started against Silva in the first, as Johnny Damon and
Cabrera laced inning-opening singles. Jeter, batting in the No. 3 spot for
the second consecutive day, brought home New York's first run with a fielder's
choice.

Cano added power in the fourth, lofting a hanging breaking ball into the
right-field seats in the fourth inning for a two-run homer. The home run was
Cano's fourth of the season and ended a drought of 112 homerless at-bats for
the second baseman, his first since June 1 at Boston.

One night after straining his left hamstring beating out a fielder's choice,
Alex Rodriguez played a key role in helping keep Minnesota off the board in
the fourth inning, a frame that saw Wang walk three batters -- one erased by
a caught stealing -- and allow a hit. Rodriguez went to his right to backhand
a Hunter grounder and swiftly started a 5-4-3 twin killing, ending the inning.

Hunter was ejected by home-plate umpire Ron Kulpa in the top of the eighth
inning for continuing to argue a called third strike from the previous inning.

A-Rod雖然肌腱有點拉傷，在這場比賽仍舊扮演關鍵角色。第四局小王連投三個保送，
雖然先靠著對方盜壘失敗抓到一個出局數，但之後的一壘安打，仍舊造成滿壘局面。
不過A-Rod漂亮地反手攔截Hunter的滾地球，演出一次5-4-3雙殺結束這個半局。


Hunter在八局上還在跟主審Ron Kulpa爭論前一局被判三振的好球，最後被驅逐出場。
