1. 王建民今天將被登錄並且在牛棚中預備當長中繼。誰被丟了呢? Alabaladejo!
   (註:難怪昨天要狂操 XD) 看起來張伯倫被球打到這件事情還真的是人算不如天算。

   另外，吉總還說把王建民送到3A去再投一場球是一種奢侈。
   (註:是真的嗎?還是場面話魔人? 最近贏太多了才可以這樣搞，是這樣嗎?
   還是又是場面話呢? 嘿嘿，那也不怎麼意外就是了)

  洋基也不怎麼放心張伯倫的情況，也許下週二會讓王建民先發
  ，但王建民的出賽日程目前還是撲朔迷離呀~~!!

2. Bruney說他手軸痛，照了MRI說沒事。今天明天都不會上場。

3. 洋基還是希望張伯倫可以正常輪職，只是這幾天要觀察看看。

4. Rivera過去兩天投了2 1/3局，所以今天大概也不會上了。Coke會當Rivera不在
   時的closer (剛好今天Bruney也不能上)

   算一算，今天牛棚有誰可以用呢?
   Rivera (?，應該沒法上吧)
   Veras (昨天1 2/3局)
   Tomko (我我我我我~~用我吧!!)
   Aceves (昨天投成那樣，週日看看有沒有機會吧)
   Bruney (本日因傷休假)
   Coke (我今天可以)
   Wang (其實他不是中繼投手阿)

   這樣看來，只有三個!! 喔吉總是沒有跟我(Pete)提起Swisher啦，要的話
   勉勉強強算四個好了~~!!

   以上狀況，我們可以祈導今天A.J. Burnett完投九局，那是最好不過的了~~!!

   (牛棚感覺真的沒啥力，難怪要把王建民緊急叫回來，我還是蠻看好今天
   小王有上場的機會，Let's go Chien-Ming Wang!)

UPDATE, 4:46 p.m.: First of all, let me warn anyone coming to the game from
the north tonight: Brutal traffic already on the Deegan. Just brutal. So be
warned.

Anyway, here’s the high points from Joe Girardi’s availability:

1. The Wang decision (Alabaladejo sent out; Wang activated and put in the
pen) was basically a situation where the Yankees’ hand was forced by
circumstance. They burned through relievers yesterday after Joba got hit;
they had no pitchers ready to come up from Scranton who could give them
length tonight or tomorrow if they needed it; thus, they went with Wang, even
though they were planning to give him one more minor-league start before he
faced major league hitters again.

“We thought we had the luxury of sending him down for one more start,”
 Girardi said. “Well, our plans changed.”

What happens to Wang next, assuming he isn’t needed out of the pen? There’s
no answer for that yet, either. Phil Hughes threw his regular side session
this afternoon and is still on the schedule to start Monday. There is the
possibility that Joba would need some extra time so perhaps Wang could start
in his place, if necessary, but otherwise it’s a mystery as to when Wang
will pitch next.

2. Brian Bruney came to Girardi yesterday about 6:15 p.m. and said he felt
pain in his elbow. He was sent for an MRI yesterday which came back clean but
he’s unavailable today and probably tomorrow as well. Girardi admitted he
has reasonably high level of concern with Bruney since it was “pain” as
opposed to just “soreness” that the reliever was feeling.

3. The Yankees are still planning on Joba being able to take his regular
turn. They will watch closely, though, when he throws his side session. “The
concern,” Girardi said “is if we watch him throw in a couple days and he can
’t push off” with his right leg.

4. Mariano Rivera pitched 2 1/3 innings the past two days and may – stress
may – not be available tonight. Girardi said he would talk to Rivera closer
to game time. Phil Coke seems like the fill-in closer if Rivera is out.

So, to recap, here’s the Yankees’ bullpen situation tonight: Rivera
(questionable), Veras (1 2/3 last night), Tomko (available), Aceves
(unavailable), Bruney (unavailable), Coke (available), Wang (not really a
reliever). I didn’t ask him, but I’m assuming Nick Swisher is also
available, if needed.

In other words, A.J. Burnett – nine innings would be ideal.
