但洋基必須找出問題出在哪－而這是投教Dave Eiland的責任。

因為某些因素，王建民跟Eiland的關係看起來就是不太蘇湖。

「我無法在投手丘上指導他」這是Eiland昨晚的說詞，言外之意似乎在說
王建民缺乏上場自立的心理素質。

的確，Eiland是沒辦法時刻跟著王，但起碼他是投教，可以指導他。
古錐在隊中時並不是一個備受尊敬的投教，大多數人只視他為托瑞爺的哥倆好。
對賽前準備或教導新的練投技巧，古錐絕不會是你心目中的人選。

但又因為某些因素(還真謎啊)，古錐跟王之間有股不可思議的連結。
王建民在他的執教下投出生涯代表作的兩個球季，靠的就是古錐的拍拍
以及他濃濃鄉音的指導。

即使2008被洋基火掉，古錐在春訓時仍答應當洋基的客座指導員。
那現在幹麻不叫他飛來牛棚跟王建民指導一下？這會對誰造成什麼傷害嗎？
我昨晚在部落格上就已經提過，看起來十分可行。

當然，身為投教一定有專業架子，不會隨便就飛去別隊牛棚
所以別指望(古錐會自己飛過來)太多啦。                  <<感謝k大的指導

很明顯地，王建民獨自承受投差的所有壓力。
身為職業選手，他的確有投出好球的職責。
但投教應該在投手低潮時能夠伸出援手。

: and first in home runs allowed. Only two teams — hapless Baltimore and
: Cleveland — are allowing a higher OPS.

Eiland該作的事可多著。
他底下的投手群們目前是美聯保送第二多、被打全壘打最多。
全美聯只有兩隊－掛車尾的金鶯和笑臉人－的被攻擊指數更高。


: A.J. Burnett has been a disappointment. Andy Pettitte is walking more
: batters per nine innings (3.9) than he has since 1999. Edwar Ramirez has
: vanished to the minors. Jose Veras is an unreliable mop-up man and Joba

A.J.的表現不如預期，老派的BB/9創了1999以來的新高，小拉米銷聲匿跡到3A去了
火拉斯整天上來放火，喬巴過去11次先發有兩次投超過六局(別忘了他有150局的限制)
甚至連守護神MO都被打爆過。
很明顯地，這投教完全不知道在搞些什麼東西 (這樣翻有比較鄉民嗎XD)


: If pitching is the foundation of a championship, the Yankees have cracks in
: the cement that go beyond Chien-Ming Wang. But fixing him would be a good
: place to start. Let Guidry take his shot.

如果投手是通往冠軍路的基石，那洋基除了王建民以外還有很多地方要修。
不過從王建民開始會是一個不錯的選擇。
