王建民將不參加紐約時間周日（20日）晚上8點零5分的跨聯盟「地鐵大戰」。


由於在芝加哥客場對白襪3連戰首役因雨延賽，迫使洋基16日必須打雙重賽，穆西納與王
建民同日出賽，這也使得洋基安排隨後地鐵大賽先發投手變得複雜。


洋基隊前天一度考慮讓王建民「投一休三」，在20日的「地鐵大戰」第3場登板，王建民
也表示，若教練團有需要，他可以「投一休三」。


洋基教練團最後仍決定由3A投手支應這場先發投手。洋基教練團排除王建民參加「地鐵大
戰」，王建民不但不會減少一天休息，成為大聯盟生涯首度兩場先發只間隔3天，反而可
能再一次「投一休五」。


王建民下一場何時登板尚未確定，但他通常安排在穆西納之後，若是穆西納依官網推測在
21日主場對紅襪，王建民將在隔天22日晚上7點零5分，在對紅襪3連戰第2場先發。

Good idea from one of the readers, let’s make this the in-game thread. I
will post any updates I have on this post. That way all the comments can stay
together.

I’ll take any other suggestions but this seems like a good idea to me.

UPDATE, 2:22 p.m.: As several readers pointed out, Tyler Clippard was pulled
from his AAA start after one inning today. It appears Clippard is the choice
to start on Sunday against the Mets.

UPDATE, 3:35 p.m.: Jeter and Posada have extended their hitting streaks to 12
games. It is a career-best for Posada. … Fans here applauded with the
scoreboard updated with the Mets coming from behind in the ninth inning to
stun the Cubs. Lou Piniella is 18-21, just like Joe Torre will be if the
Yankees fail to rally.
