篇名是Steinbrenner Passes Buck to Yankees

大意是在說Cashman以及Torre被洋基老闆找去"討論"
最近為什麼輸了一屁股的事情.
老闆尤其不爽的是為什麼他這錢多多的球隊會輸給一個
......呃......講難聽一點就是個又窮又爛的隊伍
(別打我~~不是我說的~~~)

言歸正傳,和阿民最有關係的是末尾兩段

"My job is to manage the players provided you by the organization,"
Torre said before Saturday's victory. "You don't let two weeks or
three weeks or four weeks decide a guy can't do the job. I'm not
built that way. You have to find out who your players are and where
they fit. I'm not about to jump ship."

Most of the Yankees' highest-paid players underperformed during the
six-game slide, limiting Cashman's trade flexibility, especially
given his desire to keep his two best young players, second baseman
Robinson Cano and pitcher Chien-Ming Wang.

前面一段是Torre在說他不會花上三四個禮拜以便判斷一個球員是否勝任.
沒有點出是在說誰,但總覺得是在說如阿民會待上這麼久,他(Torre)心裡已經
打好某種算盤了

後面一段是在說洋基的那些高薪球員近日表現不佳,害 Cashman若想做交易也
少些彈性空間,尤其是在他想保住兩個最好的年輕球員的前提下.

那兩個最好的年輕球員當然就是Cano和小王啦!伃
