應該算是滿客觀的評論.

Very nice performance by Wang today. He was very efficient with his pitches,
and had pretty good control. I'd wait to get overly excited for a few reasons
though.

First, it was his first major league start, and hitters had never seen him
before, so he had an advantage there. This happens a lot with young pitchers,
and it will take a few months to tell if he really is the real deal. The real
test for a pitcher is how he reacts when hitters figure him out. The best
ones adjust and improve, the mediocre ones stay stagnant. We'll see where
Wang fits in.

Second, The Jays are not exactly a hard hitting team. I'd like to see how
he'd do against the Sox or the O's, or the Rangers for that matter.

Third, he didn't strike out any batters, and I agree with those who wish
there were some K's mixed in there. You need to be able to get the big
strikeout to survive in the majors.

Overall though, he pitched very well. He certainly made a good first
impression.
