改拍自法國片《表兄妹》的浪漫喜劇。故事圍繞在一個表親家族的
婚禮、葬記憶禮及一些家庭聚會的大場面發生，藉著一些有點沾到
親戚邊緣的男女彼此追逐愛情的過程來製造熱鬧惹笑的趣味。其中，
特德．丹森與伊莎貝拉．羅塞利尼正互相吸引，而他倆的配偶西恩．
揚與威廉．L．彼得遜亦同時暗中偷情的情節是全片主線。導演喬爾
．舒馬赫成功地將本片美國化，使這部演員眾多的群戲自然地反映
出八十年代美國家庭的一些問題和想法。
