Elyse's site對 chappaquiddick 的解釋是:
Chappaquiddick.
Grissom commented that the photos of a re-dressed Bob
Fairmont in the elvator were as fake as "Chappaquiddick
neck brace." For those too young to remember, Chappaquidick
will unfortunately go down in the annals of history as where,
on July 18, 1969, Mary Jo Kopechne drowned after a car
went off a narrow bridge. The driver of that car was none
other that U.S. senator Edward Kennedy, whose political
aspirations for presidency were destroyed after this mishap,
in which Mary Jo was determined to have also been pregnant.
But anyway, Chappaquiddick is a small rural island that can
be accessed from Edgarton, Massachusetts, by a short ferry
ride. It's called "Chappy" by the locals.
