In the episode "Who Shot Sherlock?" the method in which the murder
weapon was concealed closely parallels the Holmes story "Thor Bridge"
by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

在「誰殺了福爾摩斯」中，凶器的樣子幾乎接近原著小說中的形容。

Under the glass top of Grissom's desk is a photo of the series'
executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

老葛辦公桌的玻璃墊下，壓著布肯海默的照片。

All the equipment in the lab is fully functional, and was either
purchased outright, or donated/loaned to the show for product placement.

片中所有的鑑識器材都是真的，不是來自製作單位外購，就是贊助商免費提供。

（怪不得正牌的CSI看到這影集會發酸XD）

The original name of William L. Petersen's character was Gil Scheinbaum.
Petersen changed the name to Gil Grissom because of his admiration for
astronaut Gus Grissom.

原本老葛這個角色叫做Gil Scheinbaum（薛英寶----如果是我翻譯的話XD）。演員
彼得森改為葛瑞森，這是他崇拜的太空人的名字。

The extreme popularity of this TV series was credited for a large
surge of applications for courses in forensic science.

很多人因這個節目而去選修鑑識學系。

Grissom and Catherine are loosely based on real-life LVMPD
criminalists Daniel Holstein and Yolanda McCrery.

老葛和凱姐的人物設定係參考賭城警局的兩名鑑識員。
（其中一人有出現在第二季DVD最後附加的片斷。）

The choice to place this series in Las Vegas was not random.
Among US crime labs, Las Vegas is the second most active,
surpassed only by the FBI lab at Quantico, Virginia.

賭城鑑識課的確是全美第二名，製作單位不是隨便挑的。
第一名是FBI在維吉尼亞的鑑識課。
（顯然有什麼伏筆的感覺．．．）

This show was first offered to the Disney-owned American network ABC
in 1999, but was rejected as "too confusing for the average viewer".
The show was then picked up by CBS, and since then its consistently
high ratings (frequently #1 in Neilsen rankings) have helped spur a
renaissance for that network.

本節目原本由迪斯尼所屬的ABC出資製作，但ABC覺得「一般觀眾看不懂這麼複
雜的劇情」，於是否決掉了。因此改由CBS接手，因此讓這家電臺起死回生。
（迪斯尼啊．．．上帝真的保佑CSI．．．）

10、
When asked about a possible CSI feature film, creator Anthony E.
Zuiker said he'd like to wait until after the 30th season to make it.

導播說除非CSI能連續拍個30季，否則他不考慮出CSI電影版。
