Efficiency的中文意思是 效率;效能;功效。
‧ The ratio of the output to the input of any system
‧ The degree to which outputs are achieved in terms of productivity and input
(resources allocated). Efficiency is a measure of performance in terms of
which management may set objectives and plan schedules and for which staff
members may be held accountable
2. What is effectiveness?
Effectiveness的中文意思是有效;有力。
‧ Effectiveness means the capability of producing an effect
‧ The extent to which a program or service is meeting its stated goals and objectives
3. Can you tell the difference between efficiency and effectiveness?
What is the difference?
效能和效率最大的差別在於：
效能： 指是否能夠達到組織所要求的積極目標。
效率： 指能否在組織所期望的時間之內完成目標。
舉例來說：
老闆要求我跟姊姊，把一盤散裝的綠豆跟紅豆分開，
我很快的把這份工作做好了。
而姊姊多花了半個小時的時間完成，
但是老闆檢查的結果是：
我很快分完了，
但是綠豆跟紅豆沒有完整的分清楚，還有許多紅豆遺留在綠豆堆中。
而姊姊雖然多花了半小時，但是他卻把紅豆跟綠豆分的很清楚。
由這個例子可以解釋：
我是有效率但是沒有效能，我雖然很快完成，但是並沒有達到老闆目標。
但姊姊是有效能的，因為他很準確的完成老闆要求。
