[Reasons for Joining MEPO]
Well~ this is a long story. In the beginning of school year, I was
called by the Dean of the Faculty (系主任), and he gave me this crazy idea
of "promoting the English atmosphere" on the campus. When he first told me
about this, I thought it was fun so we started discussing about holding this
everyone-hated "English Drama Night"... and you guys know how it ended,
the negative response from class mates was too intense, so I have to close
it down relunctantly haha. However, I didn't want this "English promotion"
idea to die because I think English is one of the most essential abilities
for university students to have in the modern world. Therefore, I gathered
some energetic friends to help me do something and keep this idea going,
and since then MEPO is born. Our "English Movie Night" got very good
feedback from students, and I hope MEPO can continue this spirit and do
more things for students of CSMU.
