Soulja Boy Removes Consoles From Stores Following Nintendo Lawsuit

The American rapper DeAndre “Soulja Boy” Way has recently made headlines
concerning his questionable brand of gaming consoles, namely the SouljaGame
Handheld, SouljaGame Fuze, and Retro SouljaBoy Mini Handheld. In fact, to the
many detractors of these likely illegal emulators, Soulja Boy issued a series
of homophobic tweets (that have since been deleted) in defense of his gaming
consoles.

But in a serious about-face, Soulja Boy’s stalwart stance given his consoles
has faltered, as the rapper has since pulled his consoles from stores. During
their time on the market, these consoles have supposedly sold over 5 million
units. The rationale behind pulling those consoles from the market was an
impending lawsuit from Nintendo, the gaming giant.

For many, the writing was on the wall. And it seems they were right in the
end, as Nintendo soon began legal proceedings after the product was
announced. In a recent tweet, the American rapper seemingly admits defeat,
and his consoles have since been pulled from his website. Some tech still
remains, including the SouljaPhone HT70 and the Bluetooth wireless
SouljaHeadphones, but not a single gaming console can be ordered.

Whether this proves to be the end for Soulja Boy’s venture into the gaming
industry or not remains to be seen, but the rapper has also discussed the
possibility of starting his own esports franchise in 2019, targeting games
such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, and Counter-Strike. But at this juncture, the
future of his esports franchise is unknown.

Taking all of this into consideration, it’s hard to say that this news comes
as a big surprise. After all, Nintendo is known for aggressively defending
its copyrights, and Soulja Boy’s consoles looked incredibly similar to some
of Nintendo’s products. Despite claims that he wouldn’t balk, Soulja Boy
apparently sees this as a better fiscal decision than attempting to defend
his consoles in court against the gaming giant.

他推出了自己品牌的家機，山寨了很多東西，尤其是任天堂。

他還在推特上嗆聲說：老子的主機賣的很好，老子才沒在怕任天堂。

然後任天堂就準備開告了.....

結果就是他下架了山塞主機，還在推特說：
