Assassin's Creed 4's secret connection to another Ubisoft game
刺客教條四與看門狗的低調連結

There's been some speculation about what, if any, connection Ubisoft's
upcoming hacker-centric Watch Dogs has with Assassin's Creed. Watch Dogs
depicts a hacker vigilante fighting the power of a corrupt city and the
company that controls it. Assassin's Creed also includes hackers fighting one
front of a war against a corrupt, controlling corporation.

這個推測已經流傳一段時間了:Ubisoft即將發行的兩款大作，以駭客為主軸的看門狗和
刺客教條四之間可能會有些關聯存在。看門狗劇情主要在描述駭客組織對抗被大公司所
控制的腐敗城市，而刺客教條系列的劇情中同樣也包含了駭客和大公司間的戰爭。

Assassin's Creed 4 game director Ashraf Ismail teased a connection between
the series and Ubisoft's recently delayed Watch Dogs at this year's E3
conference in an on-camera interview with Elder Geek. After playing through
Assassin's Creed 4 for Polygon's review, I can confirm that connection —
 though what it means for either series is up for debate.

今年E3跟Elder Geek的一場訪談中，刺客教條四的遊戲總監Ashraf Ismail給了一個挑人
胃口的情報：刺客教條系列與看門狗(已宣布延後發行)之間可能的連結。

Polygon's review在實際遊玩過刺客教條四後，本文作者證實了兩作間的關聯性，儘管
還不能確定是否整個刺客教條系列皆與看門狗有所關連。

Ubisoft's new franchise crosses over with its heaviest hitter in a seemingly
innocuous way: While hacking computers in the Abstergo offices, you can find
a brochure for the Blume Corporation, the company responsible for Watch Dog's
ctOS security system and protocol, along with comments from Abstergo
personnel about Blume and ctOS.

Ubisoft的這兩款新遊戲之間的連結建立在最無礙的方式上：在刺客教條四中，當玩家在
駭入Abstergo的電腦時，可以看到Blume公司的簡介，而它正是看門狗裡主導ctOS保安系
統與協議的公司，同時也可看到Abstergo員工對Blume和ctOS的評論。

It's unclear whether this is a sign of an official connection between Watch
Dogs and the Assassin's Creed series that could be explored in future games,
or if the brochure is just an Easter Egg.

目前還無法確定這是否代表Ubisoft正式宣告看門狗和刺客教條系列設定在同一時空(甚至
未來作可能有更進一步的關聯?)，所以還是先當作只是個彩蛋吧。
