Lecce Reward Rossi

Serie A returnees Lecce have rewarded Delio Rossi for bringing them back to
the big time by awarding the coach a new one-year contract.
The 43-year-old has had his share of critics since taking over the Via del
Mare side in November 2002, but is now just short of a legend at Lecce for
getting them back in the Italian top-flight courtesy of a third-place finish
in Serie B.
No financial figures were released.
