(答)The team we have is surely great: we are many in each role, we have
undisputed champions in each department. With such a group nothing is
impossible, but championships and cups are won playing football,
not chatting. This is why we will have to work hard and well to win.
(問)Milan has many new champions, but people are mad above all for you:
do you feel a red&black symbol?

(答)Milan symbol is Paolo Maldini, because it’s a life he is here and here
he has won very much: he deserves his position of leader, right and
unshakeable. I’m only very happy to see big trust around me: here
everyone appreciate me, so to play is easier.
(問)The sensation is that you have never been so strong: do you feel you are
improving continuously?

(答)I can’t think about this matter and I can’t value my progress.
I know only that in Milan I feel fulfilled because I go into the field
without having to prove something everytime.
(問)Milan has bought World Champion Rivaldo, Inter has lost Ronaldo.
Are you stronger than Inter now?

(答)The field will say. I know only that today there are 4 teams that can
fight for scudetto: besides us there are also Juventus, Roma and Inter,
that doesn’t seem to me weaker than in last season.
(問)Do you think Crespo is better or equal of Ronaldo?
crespo能力比R9好嗎
(答)First of all Inter hasn’t bought only Ronaldo, but also other champions
, among them Cannavaro: and Fabio is a player that can do the difference.
Then I think Crespo, during a season, can have the same perform, or even
better, of Ronaldo.
(問)Are you surprised for what happened to Ronaldo?

(答)A little, but he wanted to go to Real Madrid at all costs because in
Spain you can play with more freedom and score more easily: in fact Liga
hasn’t the same difficulty of our championship, that maybe isn’t th
most spectacular but surely is the best for the organization of all the
opponents. So I think Ronaldo departure has been the best solution for
everybody, also for Inter.
(問)Have you ever think to go abroad, maybe just in Spain to take advantage
of the greater spaces?

(答)If in the past I had this idea, now it doesn’t even cross my mind:
I am too happy in Milan to think about such an adventure, also because
now I have come to maturity. I hope to end my career with the red&black
jersey and maybe to remain in Milan also when I will stop playing.
(問)Do you imagine a future as executive for you?

(答)Maybe as trainer of young: I would like to teach kids what I have learnt
in many years in football. We will see if Milan will give me this chance.
(問)Rivals for scudetto have been identified: Inter, Juventus, Roma. And in
Europe who do you fears?

(答)First of all we will have to pay attention to Bayern Monaco that is in our
Champions league series of games: there’s also Deportivo La Coruna, we wi
have to fight to qualify. Then, besides Italian teams, I think the
strongest teams are clear: Real Madrid and Manchester United. But we can
compete with everybody.
(問)Inzaghi, foretell the championship: who will be the discovery?
(答)Even if it has sold Nesta and Crespo, I think Lazio can do good things:
it has good players and fair substitutes. I woulnd’t be surprised if it
fought for scudetto.
(問)Would you like to be again the leading goal scorer?

(答)Yes, I would, even if it isn’t my main aim: it’s more beautiful a succe
of the group. Anyway I think 2 players will compete for the title of
leading goal scorer: Shevchenko and Vieri. Maybe with the insertion of
timeless Hubner.
(問)Do you see a young that can be a surprise?
印象深刻的新人
(答)This will be the season of Pirlo’s consecration: even if he isn’t anymo
a boy, Andrea is arrived to a decisive moment of his career and I’m sur
he can gain everybody definitively. Instead among the youngest players
I have appreciated very much our Borriello working with him during summer
: he can become a strong champion.
(問)But both of them risk not to find space in this Milan.

(答)In our team there are 20 players that would deserve to have space:
everybody will have to accept trainer’s choices, helping him to manage a
great group to obtain important results.
(問)Meanwhile there’s the national team. World Cup disappointed you also on
personal level: are you angry with Trapattoni?

(答)With him I have always played with continuity and I think I gave an
important contribution in the World Cup qualification. Then, in Japan and
Korea, something happened, also because I injured just in the eve of the
first match. But now I’m ready to start again with the usual enthusiasm
.i care about this jersey as all my team mates. It’s enough to think that
to play a friendly match I broke my head.

(答)Great: Bobo, besides being a friend, is a fantastic champion. Beside him I
’m well, so I have deep respect for Inter. Also without Ronaldo, who has
Vieri can arrive everywhere.
