U-21 call overwhelms Mesto

Reggina’s Giandomenico Mesto has admitted that he was surprised to
learn of his Under-21 call-up.

"It is an honour to have been included," said the Napoli-born player.
"I have been dreaming of this for some time but wasn’t really expecting
it right now.
"I was just concentrating on doing well with my club in a bid to repeat
the performances which saw us beat Parma and Lazio earlier this season."
他說：「能加入U21國家隊是一件很榮譽的事，我已經夢想這件事好幾次了，
但從來沒期待過它會在這時發生，我正專注為自己的俱樂部作最好的表現，
設法獲得像賽季初擊敗Parma與Lazio那樣的水準。」
The midfielder was one of five new names to appear in Claudio Gentile’s
squad for Tuesday’s friendly in Greece.
Mesto這次Gentile的U21國家隊陣容中五名新面孔之一，
這個陣容將會在本週二在希臘有場友誼賽。
"This call up is recognition of the good work which I have done. It would
have been great if my teammate Stefano Dall’Acqua was also included.
But it is still a great honour."
他說：「這次的徵召是因為我的賣力工作獲得了認可，
如果我在Reggina的隊友Stefano Dall'Acqua也被徵召到U21那就更好了，
不過儘管如此，這對我還是一個極大的榮譽。
Mesto has been in good form for the Stadio Granillo outfit with transfer
whispers suggesting that both Milan and Juventus are keeping an eye on him.
Mesto近來在Reggina的表現很不錯，
於是曾有傳聞猜測Milan跟Juventus把轉會的目光放到了他的身上。
Another player shocked by his inclusion was Alessandro Rosina who has been
featuring for Parma of late.
另一名因被徵召而震驚的，是Parma的中場Rosina。
"It was a surprise for me," said the young midfielder. "I was just getting
on with my work and I didn’t expect this to come right now at all.
Rosina說：「這對我而言是份驚喜，因為我才剛步上軌道，
根本想都沒想到會在這個時候獲得徵兆。」
"To wear the Azzurri shirt is certainly a great honour. Whether it is a
friendly or an official match really doesn’t matter.
"This is something special for me and it was a great feeling to know of
my inclusion in the squad."
他說：「能穿上藍杉軍的制服是個極大的榮譽，
至於是在友誼賽中還是在正式比賽中真的並不那麼重要了，
能夠知道自己被選入陣容中的感覺很好。」
