Zac predicts trident tactics

Italy will start with a trident attack against Ghana on Monday,
defender Cristian Zaccardo has confidently predicted.
There was the possibility that boss Marcello Lippi would field a 4-4-2
given the mediocre form of Alessandro Del Piero and Francesco Totti.
But the stopper believes that the Coach will field one of
the aforementioned players in their World Cup opener.
“We've always played with a trident over the past two years,
we'll probably start with that tactic even if we have others
at our disposal,” said the Palermo man.
論及戰術，Zaccardo說：「我們在過去兩年中總是打三叉戟，
就算有其他的選擇，我們在首戰大概還是會用這個戰術。」
With regards to his own place in the side, Zaccardo is in contention
with Massimo Oddo for the right-back shirt.
“The Coach will evaluate his options, but he will only tell us
the team on Monday,” continued the former Under-21 international.
關於右後衛先發位置與 Oddo的競爭，Zaccardo說：
「教練會評估選擇，不過他不到週一不會告訴我們。」
“I'm more defensive than Massimo,” he admitted.
“However, I'm in good shape and feeling great.
「跟 Oddo相比我比較偏重防守，不過我現在狀況不錯感覺也很好。」
“All of the players in the squad are now hungry to play real football,
we are ready and can't wait to get started.”
「隊上所有的球員現在對於真刀真槍踢上一場球都感到飢渴，
我們已經作好準備，而且等不及要開始踢比賽了。」
Zaccardo is also eager to impress seeing as he has been criticised
for his ability by some people in the media.
“I do read the papers and sometimes see criticism,
but the only thing that matters is the faith of the Coach
which he shows me,” continued the ex-Bologna youngster.
關於媒體對他能力的質疑與批評，Zaccardo急切地想讓人留下印象，
他說：「我讀了報紙，而且有時候會看到批評，
不過惟一重要的是主教練對我表現出的信任，」
“What matters now is that I pay him back for his belief in me
and I hope to be ready when called upon.
「現在重要的是我用表現回報他對我的信任，我希望在被徵召時能做好準備。」
“The fact that I'm here shows that I deserved a call-up.
We now just hope to go all of the way.”
「事實上我能出現在這裡就說明了我夠格被徵召，
我們現在只希望能一路殺到底。」
