Perrotta preferred Brazil clash

Simone Perrotta would've rather faced Brazil in the second round
than Australia, while he defends his Roma teammate Francesco Totti.
比起澳洲，Perrotta更想在十六強遇上巴西，
另一方面他也為 Roma隊友 Totti辯護。
“In all honesty, I would've preferred taking on Brazil.
It would have been a fascinating encounter for all concerned,”
said the midfielder.
Perrotta說：「真心話，我比較想對上巴西，那會是吸引全部目光的精彩對決。」
Topping Group E was considered to be crucial in avoiding the Selecao,
but Perrotta insists he was happier with that test than the prospect
of meeting the Socceroos.
“Australia are a similar side to the United States,
but with more quality. They have an excellent striker in Mark Viduka
and Harry Kewell circles around behind him in a position that can be
very dangerous.”
「澳洲跟美國很相似，但是水準更高，他們有像 Viduka這樣的出色前鋒，
還有 Kewell在他身後四周跑動，非常危險。」
The ex-Chievo player was also critical of those in the media
who suggested this match was comparable to a Serie A meeting
of Juventus and Atalanta. “No, this is more like Juve-Milan.”
Perrotta批評媒體不該把這場對戰喻為是 JUVE-Atalanta，
他說：「並不是！這更像是 JUVE-Milan。」

Perrotta has been one of the surprise packages of
Italy's World Cup so far, starting in every game,
even if he suffered a thigh injury against the US.
Perrotta是義大利在本屆世界盃上的驚奇，

“It was very satisfying for me to start the Czech Republic match
and Luciano Spalletti rang me up to compliment me on my performance.
It's true I'm eager to score my first World Cup goal,
but it's not an obsession.”

Spalletti（Roma隊主教練）打電話來讚美我的表現，
我很渴望能踢進自己在世界盃的第一球，不過不會為此走火入魔。」
Perrotta is a Giallorossi teammate of Totti's and weighed in on the debate:
should he start considering he's clearly not at his best after
three months out following ankle surgery?
Totti的表現引發爭論：他到底在腳踝手術三個月後顯然還沒回到最佳狀態。
“Francesco is not on top form, but even at 70 or 80 per cent,
he is still a great player. Totti is not a luxury for this Nazionale,
as in his role we have nobody else who can really make the difference.
Nobody in the locker room is hostile to him and I've seen him relaxed
and eager to work hard in training.”
Perrotta為隊友辯護：「Totti不在最佳狀態，不過也有七、八成實力，
他仍然是個出色的球員，並不是什麼國家隊的奢侈品！
