Four of Italy's World Cup squad are included in a 10-man shortlist
to win the Player of the Tournament award.
世界盃最佳球員的候選人名單十人義大利入選四人。
Gigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Andrea Pirlo and Gianluca Zambrotta
have been selected by FIFA's Technical Study Group for
the 2006 Adidas Golden Ball race.
義大利隊入選名單為 Buffon、Cannavaro、Pirlo、Zambrotta共四名。
Of the six other candidates, three of them have past or present
Serie A experience – with Juventus – in the form of Zinedine Zidane,
Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira of France.
另六人中有三人有義甲經驗，都是法國人，為 Zidane、Henry、Vieira。
German heroes Michael Ballack and Miroslav Klose make up the others
with Portugal midfielder Maniche.
另外三人是 Ballack、Klose、Maniche。
While the winner will be handed the Golden Ball, a Silver
and Bronze Ball will be assigned to those players who
come in second and third place.
除了金球獎，還有銀球、銅球給二、三名。
In the Young Player category, the shortlist is made up
of Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Valencia of Ecuador,
Argentina's Lionel Messi, German Lukas Podolski,
Tranquillo Barnetta of Switzerland and Spain's Cesc Fabregas
最佳新人獎名單有：Ronaldo（葡）、Valencia（厄）、Messi（阿）、
Podolski（德）、Barnetta（瑞士）、Fabregas（西）。
