Italian top flight club Catania have made a bid to secure the
services of Tokyo Verdy striker Takayuki Morimoto（森本貴幸）.
The 18 year-old is one of Japan’s highest rated young prospects.
He opened his J-League scoring account before his 16th birthday
and has been a regular feature of the national Under 20 team.
The 2004 Rookie of the Year tasted relegation last season and
should start discussions with the newly promoted Serie A outfit
sometime next week.
