Di Livio keen on Viola stay

Angelo Di Livio is keen to stay on at Fiorentina as a Coach,
after the club decided not to renew his playing deal.
The former Juventus star earned legendary status in Florence
when he stayed with the club in Serie C2, despite offers from Serie A.
The club managed to claw their way back to the top flight
and Di Livio still had a part to play in their survival.
However, with the club embarking on a new era under Coach
Cesare Prandelli, it was decided not to extend Di Livio's contract.
“I'm talking to the sports director Pantaleo Corvino
and Andrea Della Valle,” stated the veteran.
“I believe that there can be the margins to find an agreement.
“I went down to Serie C2 for Florence and for Fiorentina.
“It can sound a rhetoric affirmation which has already
been heard before, but it's certainly true.
“When I wore the Viola shirt I didn't think about the economic aspect."
