won't broaden anyone's mind. You may not want to get into a debate today with
someone who has a vastly different point of view from you, but even if you don
't resolve anything, you will gain some insight into the issue from a differen
t point of view and you will be better able to understand an adversary's chara
cter and way of thinking. Knowing how your adversary thinks can be very valuab
le.
