 You may now be tempted to break a habit or to change something about yourself to please someone else. You may be looking at yourself through this person's eyes, and figuring that it couldn't hurt to make such a small change. If this is a change that will make your life better, then go for it. But if not, look deeper. Is this person asking you to become his or her ideal, without respecting or admiring who you are? Is this person making demands that aren't really right for you or comfortable for you? If
someone can't appreciate you as you are at your essence, then they aren't worthy of you.

你或許正試著要改變自己的某個生活習慣、
甚至是改變自己的某些地方，
只為了要取悅某人。
你透過那人的眼睛來審視自己，
想說小小的改變算不了什麼。

如果這個改變會讓你變得更好，
當然是做啊！
可是如果不會，
那麼你該更深入調查。

這個人該不會只是想要你變成他/她的理想型，
而不去欣賞真正的你？
這個人的要求對你而言是正確的嗎？
會不會讓你覺得不舒服？

如果有人不能夠接受最純粹的你，
那麼他們一點都不值得有你在身邊。
