Cardinals sign Cunnane to minor league contract

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Will Cunnane signed a Triple-A contract with the St. Louis
Cardinals and was to start for Triple-A Memphis affiliate at Las Vegas on
Wednesday night.
The 32-year-old right-hander last pitched in the major leagues with the
Atlanta Braves in 2004 and also has pitched for San Diego, Milwaukee and the
Chicago Cubs. In 184 games, including 12 starts, he's 13-12 with a 5.26 ERA.
Cunnane pitched last year at Triple-A for the Cubs and Houston.
