Blanchett back in Sydney

AUSTRALIAN actress Cate Blanchett premiered her latest film in Sydney tonight.
The 35-year-old actress has returned home to promote Coffee and Cigarettes, a
collection of comic vignettes by art house director Jim Jarmusch.
Dressed in a sleeveless, knee-length black dress, Blanchett introduced the film
to its premiere audience in the Dendy Opera Quays Cinema at Circular Quay.
Filmed in black and white, Coffee and Cigarettes delves into slices of normal
life to show how absorbing people's obsessions and addictions can be.
Life imitated art for Blanchett, as she plays an actress named Cate who is on
a movie publicity junket in her short, titled Cousins.
She plays two roles in the short, donning a black wig to play her cousin Shelly,
who is jealous of Cate's success.
