心得：
這段我個人很喜歡，這是洗者若翰（John）論及自己。
司祭等人問了些問題，以下是我查google找的一些補充資料，給大家參考：
肋未人：Levite表示猶太人的一個支派--肋未派（Tribe of Levi）的一員，
他們的任務是某些特定的宗教職務。
厄里亞：這是瑪拉基亞先知書的『看，在上主偉大及可怕的日子來臨以前，
我必派遣先知厄里亞到你們這裏來』這句。
那位先知（the Prophet）：
這是申命記
『上主你的天主，要由你中間，由你兄弟中，為你興起一位像我一樣的先知，
你們應聽信他。
正如你在曷勒布集會之日，求上主你的天主說：
「惟願我再不聽見上主我的天主的聲音，再不看見這烈火，免得我死亡。」
上主遂對我說：
「他們說得有理，我要由他們的兄弟中，給他們興起一位像你一樣的先知，
我要將我的話放在他口中，他要向他們講述我所吩咐他的一切。』

若望福音1:19-28
這是若翰所作的見證：當時，猶太人從耶路撒冷派遣了司祭和肋未人，到他那裏問他說：
「你是誰？」
他明明承認，並沒有否認；他明認說：「我不是默西亞。」
他們又問他說：「那麼你是誰？你是厄里亞嗎？」他說：「我不是。」「你是那位先知嗎
？」他回答說：「不是。」
於是他們問他說：「你究竟是誰？好叫我們給那派遣我們來的人一個答覆。關於你自己，
你說什麼呢？」
他說：「我是在曠野裏呼喊者的聲音：修直上主的道路吧! 正如依撒意亞先知所說的。」
被派遣來的有些是法利塞人，他們又問他說：
「你既不是默西亞，又不是厄里亞，也不是那位先知，那麼你為什麼施洗呢？」
若翰答覆他們說：「我以水施洗，你們中間站著一位，是你們所不認識的；
衪在我以後來，我卻當不起解衪的鞋帶。」
這些事發生於約旦河對岸的伯達尼，若翰施洗的地方。
19 This was the witness of John, when the Jews sent to him priests and
Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, 'Who are you?'
20 He declared, he did not deny but declared, 'I am not the Christ.'
21 So they asked, 'Then are you Elijah?' He replied, 'I am not.' 'Are you the
Prophet?' He answered, 'No.'
22 So they said to him, 'Who are you? We must take back an answer to those
who sent us. What have you to say about yourself?'
23 So he said, 'I am, as Isaiah prophesied: A voice of one that cries in the
desert: Prepare a way for the Lord. Make his paths straight!'
24 Now those who had been sent were Pharisees,
25 and they put this question to him, 'Why are you baptising if you are not
the Christ, and not Elijah, and not the Prophet?'
26 John answered them, 'I baptise with water; but standing among you --
unknown to you-
27 is the one who is coming after me; and I am not fit to undo the strap of
his sandal.'
28 This happened at Bethany, on the far side of the Jordan, where John was
baptising.
