TORONTO - Injured Celtics guard Ray Allen is projected to return for
Wednesday's Eastern Conference showdown against Detroit at TD Banknorth
Garden.

Allen missed yesterday's 90-77 victory over the Raptors because of a sore
right ankle. It was the second straight game Allen has missed. The six-time
All-Star injured the ankle Nov. 24 at Charlotte. Coach Doc Rivers believes
Allen will be back in action soon.

Rivers said Allen's injury "is really not that deep." The 12th-year veteran
is averaging 19.2 points and career lows in field goal percentage (.408) and
3-point percentage (.353). Rivers said Allen is still adjusting to a new
offense that isn't going through him after previously being the top option in
Seattle.

When asked if he believed Allen's ankle injury has affected his shooting,
Rivers said, "I was never a shooter, so what the [heck] would I know. But I
do know when your ankles are sore, when you have sprained ankles, you tend to
struggle shooting because of balance. He's such a pure balance shooter that
it could have had an effect.
"I have to do a better job of giving him more rhythm, touches. Not
necessarily shots, just rhythm touches. That will improve for him has well."
當被問到他是否認為Allen因為腳痛影響投籃，Rivers回答:"我從來就不是個射手，鬼才知

Guard Tony Allen had 10 points (including a pair of 3-pointers), 5 rebounds,
2 assists, and 2 steals in Ray Allen's absence yesterday. Tony Allen also had
11 points, 2 assists, and 4 steals in a 104-82 win over Milwaukee Friday.
"I'm just taking advantage of my opportunities and trying to contend the best
way I can," Tony Allen said.

後衛Tony Allen在R.Allen缺席的情況下，昨天拿下了10分(一半來自三分球)，五籃板、
兩助攻跟兩抄截。在星期五對上Bucks也拿下了11分跟兩助攻還有四次抄截。T.Allen說:"

Itinerary change(行程改變)

The Celtics were originally scheduled to return to Boston last night but with
wintry conditions in Toronto and Boston, the team decided to postpone a
return until today. The Celtics will have today off and resume practicing
tomorrow.
Celtics原本計畫在打完Raptors的晚上就回到Boston，但是由於Toronto跟Boston風雪交加
球隊決定延後到今天才回來。Celtics今天放假，明天才恢復練習。

"It's just not worth the chance with the snow here and whatever is going on
in Boston," Rivers said. "We weren't going to practice [today] anyway, so it
wasn't a big deal for us."
河流說:"並不值得我們冒著大風雪趕回來Boston，我們今天將不會練習，這並不會有多大

Rivers said Toronto is becoming a very attractive place because of its night
life and he's "starting to become concerned" about his players being drawn to
it.

When asked what the three NBA cities he was most concerned about bringing his
team to the night before a game, Rivers said: "Miami, Miami, and Miami.

Ford still parked

Raptors guard T.J. Ford has averaged 22 points and four assists in two games
against Boston this season. Ford, however, missed his third straight game
yesterday with a head injury after being fouled by Atlanta's Al Horford Dec.
11. Ford, who has overcome a major spinal injury in his career, said he was
uncertain when he will return to action.

，由於在11號對上Atlanta時，被Al Horford的一次犯規造成腦震盪。T.J Ford克服生涯

"I'm just trying to recover," he said. "It's going good though. It's coming a
lot quicker than I expected."

Wallace back soon

Celtics rookie forward Brandon Wallace could be back practicing as early as
tomorrow after suffering a right wrist injury while playing with the NBADL
Utah Flash recently. Wallace said he has been doing range-of-motion
exercises, the swelling in his wrist is down, and he expects to take off the
splint tomorrow. The 6-foot-9-inch, 203-pounder, however, is still property
of the Flash since has yet to be activated by the Celtics.

Utah Flash隊中的出賽傷到了右手關節。Wallace說自己正在做範圍性運動(這地方我不太

When asked about having to go back to Utah once healthy, Wallace said: "If
that's the case, I'll go back. No problem."

Rajon Rondo got the wind knocked out of him during the game when he fell on
the ball but reported no postgame problems . . . Kendrick Perkins's injured
right big toe, which caused him to miss last Wednesday's game against
Sacramento, flared up but he toughed it out after some encouragement from
Kevin Garnett and said he feels fine. Perkins grabbed five rebounds, scored 4
points, and blocked two shots in 23 minutes . . . Scot Pollard was available
after missing two games with a back injury, but was a DNP-CD.
R.Rondo曾經有傳言說在他比賽中，因為從天而降的球被打昏過，但是在比賽後身體檢查
R.Rondou並沒有大礙(這地方我也不太確定，請高手出來幫忙一下)。K.Perkinsy右腳大拇
趾的傷造成他缺席禮拜三與Kings的對戰，但是在K.Garnnet的鼓勵之下，他克服了令人抓
狂的疼痛感覺狀況好一點，所以能在Raptors出賽，上場23分鐘拿下四分兩火鍋，以及五籃
板。S.Pollard在因為背傷缺賽兩場後可以再度出賽，但是依然是DNP。
