Wednesday practice update: Allen gets shot straight

WALTHAM - Ray Allen put up a lot of extra shots after practice today.

He expects to put a lot more in tomorrow’s Game 2 than the four he did in
going scoreless in Tuesday’s Game 1 victory as well.

雷槍期望經過第一場只出手四次並無法得分的狀況後,在第二場能做的更好




Noting that the victorious outcome overshadowed any frustration over his first
scoreless game in 11 years - and first ever in the playoffs - Allen said after
the shooting session that, while he didn’t want to force shots in Game 1, he
has to find a way to create more of them going forward.

在第一場比賽後 對雷槍造成了一些挫折 這是他十一年來第一場沒得分的比賽

也是季後賽的第一場 雷槍說他不想再去回想第一場比賽,

他必須找到一個方法去解決這問題










“I always want to be aggressive. But, I think, within this offense I have to
find my opportunities,” said Allen, who also played some one-on-one with Sam
Cassell yesterday. “A lot of what we did (in Game 1) was we took ourselves out
of our offense. But I will be (more aggressive) in trying to attack my man more
when I have the ball.

在昨天與外星人練習了一些一對一單打後 雷槍說著

我總是想要保持侵略性,但在進攻上 我想我得試圖去找尋機會

我們做了很多事情 讓我們變得不會進攻 但當我手上有球時會更積極的去攻擊防守我的人





“It was hard last night because there weren’t a lot of opportunities. I
didn’t want to get into the mode of trying to force it because I think when we
forced it we did commit turnovers. But I will be more aggressive tomorrow.”

昨晚是個難熬的夜晚,我沒有太多出手機會 我不想強攻

因為我覺得強攻只會製造更多失誤 但明天我一定會更具侵略性(一直提,雷槍怒了) 





Coach Doc Rivers said some of the responsibilities for creating shots for Allen
rests on the team as well.

河流說 幫雷槍製造空檔 是團隊該負的責任






“We have to run more stuff for him,” Rivers said. “In Seattle he did a lot
of ball-handling. We still want to get him off catch-and-shoot jump shots,
plays like that. We can.” …


河流說:我們得製造更多機會給雷槍 在超音速時 雷槍必須一直持球

我們仍然希望可以不用讓雷槍做些Catch & shoot的play 我們可以作得到...
