BOSTON (AP)—The Boston Celtics suspended guard Gabe Pruitt for two games
after he was arrested in Hollywood for misdemeanor drunken driving.

The team said Friday the second-year guard was being suspended for “conduct
detrimental to the team.” Pruitt said in the statement he knew his behavior
was “inappropriate,” and he accepted the consequences.
Pruitt禁賽理由是"擾亂球隊風紀律"，Pruitt也知道他錯了。
Pruitt was detained early Thursday, hours after the Celtics lost to the Los
Angeles Clippers, for stopping at a green light and having dark tinted
windows, which are illegal in California. Police said Pruitt then failed a
field sobriety test.
Pruitt在輸給那場不想提起的球賽之後，在綠燈的時候因為在加州不允許把車窗貼成黑色
，被警察攔下來做酒測。
“We’re disappointed as an organization and disappointed in Gabe. But he
understands the mistakes he made. He’s young and he learned from those
mistakes,” Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. “Fortunately no one got hurt and
it’s probably a great learning experience for him—but one that we would
have rather stayed away from.”
