BOSTON - It was a mostly quiet locker room before tonight’s Celtics/Clippers game with the most interesting thing being that C’s coach Doc Rivers said Tony Allen may be closer to returning to the floor than Leon Powe. This is not so much a pardon-the-pun “thumbs up” on Allen’s return from thumb surgery, but raises questions about when Powe might be back. Allen was originally slated as out until the playoffs, but has stated his intention to return with “three or four games left.” Powe was supposed to be out two weeks with a knee sprain - and that was last week. With the caveat “I don’t think any of them are going to play any time soon, ” Rivers said that Allen has been able to keep in shape during his down time because of the nature of his injury, and that apparently gives him a leg up on Powe and Brian Scalabrine (concussion symptoms). -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.163.158.102
