While the addition of Rasheed Wallace is both accepted and now anticipated by
all of us, the Celtics still face some glaring holes on their roster card,
with no gap proving to be potentially more lethal than the small forward
position.

A backup point guard still needs to find his way here, as does another
inside-loving big man to better compliment Wallace and the rest of the pine
people next season.

But for right now, Pierce needs the relief, which we all thought would have
come in the form of Grant Hill, but seeing as he re-signed with the Phoenix
Suns, we must turn our attention back to the free agent pool.

Personally, I’m a Matt Barnes fan, and believe he possesses many of the same
skills as Hill, but has a pretty bright future ahead of him to add to that. He
’s the type of player who will sincerely help us next season, but will also
be an important cog three or four seasons down the road (for all of you who
continue to dread the future worse than Sarah Connor in Terminator 2).
個人方面，作者是個Barnes的fans，也認為他有許多與Hill相同的技巧，但是他有著更
光明的前途。他就是那種可以在下一季真的幫到我們的球員，但也會成為接下來三、四

Marvin Williams also hasn’t been signed yet, but I personally can’t see the
Celtics obtaining his services. While I don’t know too many details about
the deal he wants, I assume he’s looking for a longer deal worth some
significant money, rather than the biannual exception we’ll most likely be
offering. But since we haven’t heard his name mentioned once, why would that
suddenly change over the course of the next week or two? If for whatever
reason he remains unsigned through this month and for a hearty portion of
August, then maybe he would consider taking $1.9 million and potentially a
championship in order to strengthen that resume of his.
Marvin Williams也是一個還沒簽約的FA，但作者個人認為超塞無法獲得他。因為不知道
他到底想要多少，假設他需要一個有足夠金錢的長約，那對於僅能提供雙年約的我們來說
就不太可能達成協議。但我們還沒聽說有討論到他，說不定下幾個禮拜就會有消息了。
要是他有任何原因讓他在這個月內還沒被簽約，那8月他可能會考慮看看1.9M與可能獲得
冠軍戒指的機會。
Barnes should be someone much more inclined to accept the BAE, which, on top
of his skill set, makes him an attractive player that the Celtics could show
interest in.
Barnes是比較有可能接受雙年條款的人，加上他的技巧，讓超塞對他比較有興趣。
And if free agency leaves us with no one, according to the Boston Herald,
some sign-and-trade possibilties are apparently being discussed.
要是FA並沒有人可供我們選擇，根據Boston Herald，一些先簽後換的交易可能性也正
被討論著。
Ainge’s summer isn’t finished, though. Though he declined to identify the
next target, a league source said that the Celtics have been investigating
sign-and-trade possibilities with other teams.
安吉大總管的夏天動作並未結束，儘管他拒絕討論下一個目標是哪位，但有消息來源
說超塞正在調查一下聯盟中有哪些隊伍可以做先簽後換的交易。
I for one could care less how it gets done, unless a potential sign-and-trade
significantly changes a major part of our lineup (which I can’t see
happening), but there’s seriously no way the Celtics can waltz into next
season without addressing this weakness.
I’ll keep my eyes and ears open for any updates.

作者是覺得先簽後換的事情可以先暫時擺一邊，除非先簽後換會動到我們的主要陣容，
但對於超塞來說，若就這樣結束補強進入下一季，問題可是會變得嚴重的。
(*) 我覺得作者意思是Barnes在接下來的一季可能會幫到我們的忙，但是若繼續合作下
去反倒會害到我們的感覺。
