ChelseaJose Mourinho's Chelsea have made an excellent start
to the season and remain unbeaten after eight games.
The Blues have conceded only one goal so far, the best-ever
defensive start to a Premiership season.
Mourinho's defensive nous was evident during his time as coach
of Porto, the side he led to UEFA Champions League glory last
season, as he caught the eye of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
The 1-0 victory over Liverpool keeps the West Londoners on
Arsenal's tail at the top of the table as Joe Cole came off
the bench to grab the winning goal.
Leicester City and Aston Villa are the previous holders of
the record with two goals conceded apiece.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the scale, Arsenal have set a
new record for the number of goals scored at the start of a
Premiership season.
The Gunners continue to rewrite the record books and Jose
Antonio Reyes's final strike in the 4-0 thumping of Charlton
Athletic enabled the champions to surpass Newcastle United
and Manchester United's tally of 25 goals in eight games.
